2 killed in Bajura khukuri attack
Oct 14, 2017-Two persons have died in a khukuri attack at Kalapani in Tribeni Municipality-8 of Bajura district on Saturday.
According to the District Police Office, Bajura, the deceased have been identified as Naule Giri, 27, son of Mohan Giri, and Arjun Giri, 32, of the same municipality.
Police said that Naule died on the spot while Arjun breathed his last during the course of treatment at Bayalpata in Achham.
DSP Jagadish Bhatta of the DPO said that Naresh Giri was injured in the attack.
He said that Naresh is receiving treatment at the Badimalika Polyclinic in Budiganga Municipality.
DSP Bhatta said that the incident occurred following a dispute over land between Mohan and his brother Gorakh.
It has been learnt that Gorakh’s three sons had attacked Naule, Arjun and Naresh with the sharp weapon.
Police said that they have arrested Gorakh and his sons Yogendra, 20, and Dinesh, 16, for investigation.
