प्रायजसो बिवाहित नेपाली महिलाहरुले सिउँदोमा सिन्दुर लगाउने गर्छन् । तर हिन्दु धर्ममा सिन्दुर लगाउनको लागि कैयौँ नियमहरु बताईएको छ । शास्त्रमा पनि सिन्दुर लगाउनेबारेमा थुप्रै कुराहरुको बारेमा बताईएको छ । यदि यसको पालन नगरेमा धेरै किसिमका समस्याहरु आउने सक्ने आशंका गरिएको छ ।
ज्योतिषाचार्य पंडित मनीष शर्माका अनुसार यदि कुनै बिवाहित महिलाले सहि तरिकाले सिन्दुर लगाएमा उसको नकारात्मक उर्जाहरु टाढा जानेगर्दछ । यसबाट घरमा सुःख–शान्ति आउनको साथै उमेर पनि लामो हुने गर्दछ ।
सिन्दुर लगाउनु अघि हरेक महिलाहरुले शास्त्रमा भनिएको कुरालाई पछ्याउनु उत्तम मानिन्छ । यसो नगर्नाले उनको पतिको धनसम्पती नास हुनुको साथै बेकाममा खर्च हुनसक्छ । हामी यहाँ तपाईहरुलाई सिन्दुर लगाउने समयमा ध्यान दिनुपर्ने केहि कुराहरुको बारेमा बताउन गईरहेका छौँ ।
१. कुनै अर्को महिलाको सिन्दुर आफ्नो सिउँदोमा लगाउनुहुदैँन । २. आफ्नो पति बाहेक अरुले किनेर दिएको सिन्दुर लगाउनुहुदैँन । ३. यदि कसैले तपाईलाई सिन्दुर उपहार दिन्छ भने त्यस्ता सिन्दुरहरु लगाउनुहुदैँन ।
