Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have always shared cold-vibes owing to their relationship with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The actors have taken jibes at each other on talk-shows and in media interviews in the past. More recently, Deepika said on BFFs with Vogue that she would not invite Katrina Kaif to her wedding.
When Ranbir and Deepika promoted their film Tamasha, Katrina had told GQ, “I can't enforce my will on the people in my life. Their choices are their own. I may not be happy with them but I hope that as they mature or as they evolve, their choices will change.”
Alia Bhatt who is close to both Deepika and Katrina Kaif said in a recent interview that she has a pact with both the actors about doing films with them. When asked about this, Katrina told Hindustan Times, “I think it [teaming up with Alia] would be amazing. Not many know but I have been telling Adi (Aditya Chopra; film-maker) for the longest time that someone should make a great, big-budget and lavishly mounted film starring two girls with strong characters. I really hope he does something like that and I would love to do such a movie with Alia. I have a strong feeling that it would do amazingly well [at the box office]."
However, she added, “As far as I am concerned, there is no pact or anything like that with Deepika in terms of working together.”
